MOST INSPECTIONS ARE ONLY $75.00 AND $40.00 A UNIT AFTER THAT FOR MULTPILE SYSTEMS AND CAN SAVE YOU DAYS OF BEEING DOWN AND HOT IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER WHEN HVAC SERVICE PEOPLE ARE HARD TO FIND.
ELECTRICAL INSPECTION
checking capacitors, inspecting high voltage and its components for stress, checking the life of the compressor and determining if it's in good condition, inspecting motors for over amping and signs of imbalance inspecting for water intrusion,
REFRIGERANT
check refrigerant levels for proper operation. inspect any areas for rust and possible avoidable failures. free electronic leak check if system is low on refrigerant. inspect the flow of refrigerant through the air conditioning system to ensure that there are no restrictions or faulty valves.
(even if a system has proper amount of refrigerant that does not ensure that it flows correctly)
AIR FLOW
check that the system is pushing the proper air flow by inspecting to see if evaporator coils and blowers are impacted and that they are free of dust and debris. basic inspection of the airflow through the duct system below the ceiling is available in the price of the checkup however load calculations and above ceiling inspections are not included in the 75.00 air conditioner system check.
DRAIN SYSTEM
inspect the drain to ensure that it is not clogged and free of debris at the exit point. inspect drain pan on non-sealed systems to ensure that the drain pan is clean and clear of debris.
look for signs of water and leakage that could cause possible future damage to your home or air conditioning system decks and stands.
(Drain system cleaning is not included in the price of the air-conditioning checkup however is available at the time of the check up and varies on a case-by-case basis)
